Who Are We
Organized Retail Crime Association or ORCABC is a non-profit association holding province-wide membership of public and private professionals, including Loss Prevention and Law Enforcement aimed at accomplishing our mission.
Our Mission
ORCA BC’s mission is to detect, deter, and dismantle organized retail crime through collaboration and partnerships with public and private entities. Together, from our initiatives we will enhance the overall safety of all stakeholders and communities across British Columbia.
Why must we stop ORC?
Organized retail crime has a significant impact on prices in Canada, contributing to financial losses for retailers and affecting consumer prices. The financial losses due to organized retail crime have reached approximately $9.1 billion in 2025, highlighting the economic burden this crime places on the retail sector.
